Autism & SEN Session - Christmas Special 2024

After talking to many parents of children with special educational needs or disabilities we have made the following adjustments to our Christmas Special event!

- The session will be at the beginning of the day so visitors will be the first customers on site and the site will therefore be quieter

- Reduced or eliminated queuing time

- Reduced volume of sound/music during Christmas show

- No flashing lights, UV lights or unexpected events/sounds during the Christmas show

- All staff will be trained to reflect the advice the specialists and parents have given us

Please read below for further information regarding the event:

The time you book for is your train ride where your enchanted experience will begin, please be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your slot so you have plenty of time to park your car and check in. Once you've checked in Clove and Nutmeg our station nutcrackers will board you upon the Santa Express where our driver will navigate you to Father Christmas’s Winter Workshop.

After your train ride, you will be greeted by Holly the Christmas fairy who will guide you through our illuminated woodland walk, home to our picture perfect bauble tree, to meet our reindeer keepers Logan and Thorn. Here you can create your own reindeer feed bags to leave out for Rudolph on Christmas eve!

The magic doesn’t end there, Hazel the postal elf will give you everything you need to write your Christmas wish list to Santa, including a fast track stamp and the location of our on site special-delivery letterbox where you can post your letters. Be sure to look out for our miniature Fairies and Elves and their Christmas festivities on the way too!

Snowberry the Christmas fairy will also be waiting in her tipi tent to read you all an interactive Christmas story; don’t forget to let off steam on our Adventure Play Area too.

Delicious food and drink will be available at the Café to refresh even the hungriest elves. Our Christmas characters do love seeing you kitted out in your winter finery – so make sure you wrap up warm! The later trains in the day also benefit from enjoying the site adorned with lights.

Included in the ticket price:

Train ride to meet Father Christmas, Mother Christmas and their Elves, Gift for every Child, Letter Writing, Illuminated Christmas walk to the Reindeer Food Factory, Snowberry the Christmas Fairy Storytelling Show and Adventure Play Area.

Booking is required. Tickets will not be available to purchase on the day.
