Our Woodland Adventure Days take place throughout the year, offering a relaxed environment for families to enjoy.

They are our off-peak, great-value days, where you can make use of our adventure playground, explore our fairy walk and of course ride on one of our trains!

During the week they are a perfect day out for parents and grandparents to take the little ones somewhere for a few hours, while the bigger ones are at school.

Also a great location to gather as a group, or with your homeschool network, with plenty of parking and space to roam around.

Plus, take advantage of our group booking discount! If you’re booking for 10 or more, you’ll automatically receive 10% off at checkout. For groups of 20 or more, enjoy 20% off, and for 30 or more, you’ll get 30% off.

It is cheaper to book online, in advance, when you buy more than one ticket. When you buy a ticket on the door it will be £2 more.

Our weekday tickets are our best rate, they are cheaper than our weekend tickets.

Our Autism & SEN friendly Woodland Adventure Days take place throughout the year, offering a relaxed environment for you to enjoy.

Our Autism & SEN friendly sessions are the first train of the day, which means there are fewer people on site. 

They are our off-peak, great-value days, where you can make use of our adventure playground, explore our fairy walk and of course ride on one of our trains!

Join us this May Half Term for an enchanting journey into the forest, where you’ll encounter charming displays featuring beloved fairy tales.

Following the train ride, children can unleash their creativity by crafting a nature crown by using natural materials sourced from the forest – regal headdresses with leaves, twigs and grasses! And what’s a crown without a wand? Each little magician can craft their very own wand to cast spells and add a touch of magic to their day.

Families can explore the Fairy and Elf Walk, which winds through the enchanted woods where children can spot tiny fairies living happily and in harmony with nature. These magical creatures also tend to our sensory nature corner, ensuring the wellbeing of the wildlife.

For more active adventures, children can let off steam at our adventure playground.

We are very excited to announce that families will have the chance to meet a very special visitor making a magical appearance this May Half Term: The Gruffalo will be joining us here, in our deep dark wood on Saturday 24th May and Sunday 25th May.  

The Gruffalo will make special appearances at intervals throughout the day across the weekend, creating unforgettable moments for his little fans.  

Here’s what else to expect across both weekends, as well as from Monday 26th – Friday 30th May.
